Reflections Dance Company, a dynamic program of Northern Lakes Arts Association (NLAA), is dedicated to creating a welcoming and joyful environment for all people, of all ages and body types, to have fun and move their bodies. As part of its mission, Reflections believes that dance should be accessible to everyone, offering an inclusive space where creativity and self-expression flourish.
Rooted in NLAA’s commitment to enriching the community through the arts, Reflections provides a diverse range of classes and performances, inviting dancers of all skill levels to explore the joy of movement. Constant Changes
Experience live music from local artists in this performance from August 2024, which explores the theme of change in our lives. Dancers of all ages performed at Ely's Historic State Theater, showcasing choreography inspired by concepts such as emergence, decay, and revolution. Coming Aug. 2025 ... Water 2.0
“Water gives life, and takes it away as well. This central theme will hopefully evoke a strong response in our audience.”
In 2018, Ely was swept away by the creation of Reflections Dance Company and their inaugural concert, Reflections on Water. This celebration of the place we call home, honoring the vital resource we all treasure, resonated deeply with the community. Now, almost seven years later, Director Molly Olson is diving back into this theme with Water 2.0, a production set to premiere in the summer of 2025.
