Greenstone Art Camp (Grades 1 - 6)

Unleash your child’s imagination this summer! Greenstone Art Camp is a joyful three-day experience for children entering grades 1 through 6. Young artists will paint, draw, weave, and explore a variety of hands-on projects in a nurturing environment led by passionate instructors. Set in the beautiful surroundings of Ely, MN, this camp builds confidence, creativity, and lifelong artistic skills.

Greenstone Art Workshop
(Grades 5 - 12)

Dates: June 2 – 5, 2025
Time: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Grades: 6–12
Capacity: 20 participants
Tuition: $100 (Scholarships Available)

Explore, create, and build with nature! The Greenstone Art Workshop is a four-day immersive program for students in grades 6–12. Inspired by artist Andy Goldsworthy, participants will design and construct natural installations and large-scale found-object art. Led by experienced local artists, this workshop encourages creative risk-taking, artistic growth, and deep engagement with the natural world.

NLAA Liability, Health Waiver and Photography Release: 

Liability Waiver

By registering for and participating in Greenstone Art Camp and Workshops, I (or my child/ward) voluntarily assume all risks associated with these activities. I understand that art-making and workshop participation may involve the use of tools, equipment, and materials that carry inherent risks of injury. I agree to release, hold harmless, and indemnify the Northern Lakes Arts Association (NLAA) and the Ely Arts & Heritage Center, including their staff, volunteers, and affiliates, from any and all claims of liability, including but not limited to injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in any Greenstone program, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

Health Waiver

I certify that I (or my child/ward) am in good health and able to participate in camp or workshop activities. I understand and agree that NLAA and the Ely Arts & Heritage Center are not responsible for any medical conditions, allergic reactions, or injuries that may arise during participation. In the event of an emergency, I authorize NLAA and/or the Ely Arts & Heritage Center to seek emergency medical treatment as deemed necessary. I agree to be responsible for any resulting medical costs.

Photography Release

I grant permission to NLAA and the Ely Arts & Heritage Center to photograph, record, or video me (or my child/ward) during participation in Greenstone Art Camp and Workshops. I understand these images may be used for promotional purposes, including social media, publications, grant reporting, and marketing materials. I waive any rights to compensation or ownership regarding the use of these materials.
